Size: Varies, adults typically reaching around 0.5 inches
Enclosure: Plastic storage bin or glass terrarium
Diet: Provide a varied diet including vegetables, dried leaves, grasses, and organic matter. Include protein such as fish flakes &/or Bee pollen!
Temperature Range: Maintain temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations as they can adversely affect the isopods.
Humidity: Maintain a moderately high humid environment. Mist one side of the enclosure regularly to create a humidity gradient.
Substrate: Choose a substrate such as coconut coir, keeping it consistently moist. Include a layer of leaf litter for added enrichment.
Reproduction: Moderate difficulty – with proper care, adults will breed, and juveniles will be visible in the habitat. Slow-ish reproduction IME.
