What is the estimated delivery time for orders?

Orders are typically processed on our end and shipped within 1-2 business days. We only ship out Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays. The estimated delivery time may vary depending on the shipping method and the recipient's location. Customers can expect to receive their packages within 1-3 business days from the shipping date.

Shipping times displayed at checkout refer to the transit time after your order has been shipped, not from the date of purchase. For example, if checkout states "Express Shipping: 1-3 Business Days," this means you can expect delivery within 1-3 business days after your order has been shipped.

Please note, any orders placed After 5 PM on the Sunday prior to the shipment will be sent out the following week!

Has my order been shipped out?

Once your order has been dispatched, you should have received an email containing shipping details and the expected delivery date. If you haven't received this email, it likely indicates that your order has not yet been shipped. Please be sure to check your spam/junk emails just incase it's there. If you're wondering about the status of your package, don't hesitate to reach out for further assistance. 

What if it's too hot/cold the week of shipment?

Temperature and weather conditions are very important to take into account when shipping out live insects. We will monitor the temperatures for both ourselves and the customer to make sure that conditions are acceptable for travel. We may hold off on shipping until the weather permits. If you anticipate adverse weather conditions for the upcoming week, we kindly request that you reach out to us to provide advance notice.

What are the shipping costs?

Costs are calculated based on the destination, weight of the package, and the selected shipping method. You can view the shipping fees during the checkout process before finalizing your order. Winter shipping will have additional fees.

What couriers do you use for shipping?

We use Canada Post from spring to fall, and we use UPS for winter shipping due to their great delivery times.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes! Local pickup will be in Vaughan, Ontario. After placing an order for pickup, please reach out to me to schedule a date and time!

I have already made an order, but I want to get more stuff?

If you'd like to add more things to your order, please reach out to me and I will manually add it. If shipping cost changes, you will be notified via email with the balance owing prior to the shipment of your order.

You're sold out of the thing I'm looking for, can I still purchase them?

I try my best to keep inventory up to date on the site, but occasionally I may forget to update it. Chances are they're not ready, but please feel free to reach out and ask!

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, we do not offer international shipping.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Depending on the Invert/species, I may be able to accommodate.  Please reach out for more info.
