Skill Level: Intermediate/ Advanced
Size: Approximately 0.8-1"
Enclosure: Plastic storage bin or glass terrarium
Diet: Vegetables, dried leaves, wood, grasses, and decaying matter. Ensure they have access to Calcium Supplements. Offer essential calcium sources like limestone and cuttlebone. Loves lichen and moss.
Temperature Range: Maintain a temperature range of about 20-28C (65 to 85F)
Breeding: These guys are slow to grow and do not reproduce all that quick, expect small broods but often.
Substrate: Use coconut coir, peat moss, etc. Keep it slightly moist and add a layer of leaf litter for enrichment. These guys are arboreal so they love having sticks and bark stacked!
Humidity: Maintain a low-moderately humid environment. To achieve this, mist one side of the enclosure to create a moisture gradient. Keep moss on the moist side to help maintain humidity, but never allow it to dry completely. Very good ventilation is CRUCIAL to prevent die offs and to prevent mold outbreaks!
